It's not a knock down, it's a fact. Lineman are a totaly diferent breed of people. It takes a certain and special kind of breed to be a lineman.
They are a tough old school code of ethics kind of people. They are the very backbone of the industry. They keep the lines of communication going. If anyone has the right to complain it is them. They laid down the very foundation for what we have today. be it cable, phone or electric. Most people don't get it. It's a certain kinda pride. the same kinda pride that your partents grew up with. the CAN DO attitude and not the whats in it for me speach. They are the true troopers of the poles. Sh*t they are more reliable than the post office. Through rain snow sleet hail emergancies AND HOLIDAYS. While the rest of the industry goes on with a seemingly normal life. They carry the respect and honer of generations berfore them.
So after you read this you tell me...............what's your view now on linemen and who they "knock down"?
