Ok, I agree with the half full instead of half empty, just wait until you work 3 weeks and and get screwed on that first check if you get one, wait until the son of a b*tiches dont pay at all and leave in the middle of the night, or you get all your equipment stolen and if you have any kids( which you probably dont) want to eat the next week and you dont have the money becuase of any of the above, or the take your $2000-$10,000 retainer and state that there is legal reasons for holding it longer.. I have been thru lawsuits in this field is is not a nice place to start nor stay. Just trying to give you some heads up.. I know it is not easy to start a career anywhere. Wish you the best!!!!
