If you are a sub making $8.00 a disco. then the prime is making $12 to $16 per disco. I take it that you are working under his insurance and you are paid one to two weeks out. When you become the prime, the insurance that you have to have (depending on limits) could be costly and not having any prior business with these companies, they will want payment in full$$$$$. then you have to take in consideration that the customer will want to pay you no sooner than 30 days out and could go as far as 90. Not to mention the business license that you have to have.To get started in the biz you need the capital to back you up, good luck...Phil
