Ya know for the most part most cable companies have gotten so huge that they are almost completely run and staffed by clowns. I cant tell you how many AOM's I've met that are downright dumber than a box of dog droppings.
It becomes a vicious cycle of people that don't know wtf they are doing hire people that don't know wtf they are doing and so on. Only thing those people are proficient at is blaming somebody else lower down on the food chain.
Some MSO's did away with bidding for awhile and simply said "this is what we pay". But now they are back to the under cut because "what they paid" attracted hacks anyway, so they might as well let the hacks underbid and work for less so that their#'s look good.
