there are ways to reign in the oligarchy but the apathy of the people prevents this from happening, so we get what they want to give and nothing more. The only real solution is to change the government thru the electoral process every time we vote. Look! if the people change everyone when the time came to do so we could break the chains that bind us but then again apathy comes back to haunt us.
