As an employee he can fire you for negligence or incompetence or dishonesty or for no reason.

If you accept a back charge (which is a contractual term) you are admitting that a business loss is your fault AND you are responsible for making up the loss. Is that restitution for a theft? Is it a contribution to the well being of the company you care about?

When do they distribute the profits and what will your share be?

Think before you quit but ask for a summary in writing and compare it to any agreement you may have made when hired as an employee.

Look for the door.......you are probably dealing with a middle management crook.
