Yes I am actually, 1 tons I've used sorry to say it but the powerstroke disappointed me, too much, too expensive maintenence. The light duty trucks are undoubtably another platform entirely and I beleive the 7.3s were actually international engines, I could be wrong about that though. I've never had one of their auto trans make 100k and changing the glow plugs will generally cost over 2k, I could buy an entire gas v-8 for not much more. I'm giving their 5.4 gas v-8 a shot this time. I'd be interested in the "official" explanation why they're not available here I'm sure its lame or maybe they're not manufactured in the US and free trade isnt so free,cost of shipping here steals the profit margin. Somewhere it boils down to a dollar in their favor not ours.
