Paul this happens everyday in the satellite and the cable industry. I for one am like Joe, I will not work for retailers, hsp's etc, just for that fact alone. They seem to justify it by stating " it's our job , we sent you there, without the w.o. you wouldn't have custom fees". That is pure horse hockey, but it return, most people will not pay you for the second line to DVR's stating that you usually get a wall fish out of that anyway. I do 95% standard installs with no custom work what so-ever. Try going into the Foote Homes housing project in Memphis and get a penny out of them for anything. Same with the customers in Mississippi. "A pole mount costs money, they didn't tell me this".....
