Comcast Cert. Classes

Hey has anyone had to deal with the certification classes that Comcast is requiring. They just toke over the Indiana market and they are stating that all sub's most be certified or they will not route us until we are certified. The due date is in June and the books are like $180.00 any help or ideas about this or why this is going on.
