What system or satellite are you using. You should be able to access some sort of provisioning software inside the modem kind of like setting up a router, usually through the IP address in the address bar. Most satellites have 3-4 different transponders each using different frequencies. Try recommissioning the modem through all the various transponders. Usually the higher the frequency the better the signal. Also if you have acces to spare parts like feedhorns, LNB, BUC, try swapping parts condesation can be an issue.
