Make sure that the rj-45 connector(s) from the modem to your lan port is crimped proper ie. make sure the pvc is flush with the back of the rj-45 connector, i had a trouble call friday, and replacing the cat-5 ethernet cord due to bad rj-45 connectors, resolved issue. Just a thought.
