ok - p;ease c;arify this much.... was the amp your having probs with working good before this lightning strike? if it was the line in particular that got hit needs replaced regardless... your straight splices may have died, or the amp housing itself has taken a dump due to the strike... if things were fine before it got hit i doubt it is amp draw on the power supply cause i've seen em stretched thinner.....
