He would be historical all right and his hand will be in your pocket. A lot! If he is not a patriot then he is not presidential. He showed his disdain for this country, more than just that hand, many times. I don't want someone who doesn't like this country. The lack of respect in that photo by not raising his hand to his heart is the issue. If he didn't want to put his hand over his heart at that moment then who's to say he won't have further episodes of apathy towards this country. A leader has to be a leader all the time. All the time. And he/she must be willing to not only show it but feel it as well. I don't think apathy is a "lead by example" virtue. And for the record I do take my hat off or put my hand over my heart during the National Anthem when I am at an event calling for it.
