I had a meeting with a sales man from a voip company and I asked him about fax machines and voip. I will try to pass on my take on what he said. Voip phones are digital and fax machines are analog ,they will work for a few pages and then quit.I didn't ask him why they work several pages and then quit,if there is basic probablem with the difference in machines why do they work at all. Don't know.I don't use fax machines much anymore.Hope this helps.Chuck
