When I was just a child of 6 years of age I use to go down to the banks of the North Fork of the Gunnison River in Colorado. I gathered firewood to put in a wood /coal stove to heat the house that I lived in. We used the driftwood to get the coal going to heat the house. The coal burning stove was also the stove for cooking the food and was dated 1876. Sometimes you just cannot go back... Yet those were probably the happiest times of my life.
