agreed. if the pay doesn't cover spec refuse the job. i've never gotten in trouble for a dish job that i wouldn't touch. i've eaten more than 1 free rtc on a job i knew i shouldn't touch but did. my shop gives them back to dish with pictures and a note (rejected: install related) move on to the next one. on new installs however there are times when there is NO WAY to do the job to spec, we consult the quas and if they accept our plan we do it, if not we let someone else have it. sucks to waste the gas, but it's better than wasting time, materials, AND gas on a chargeback.
