We are currently looking for a talented Headend Proof Field Engineer.

Reporting to the Field Operations Supervisor, this position will be responsible for the measurement, setup and recording of CATV Headend baseband Video, Audio and RF signals. In addition to troubleshooting and resolving problems encountered during the Headend Proof. Will prepare a report of results for Headend equipment tested. Travel is extensive. Will travel out on Monday morning, return home Friday afternoon for 80% of year. No relocation is required, the Field Engineer can work out of current location if close to a major airport.

The multi-tasking field engineer we seek will have:
1) at least 5 years CATV system experience
2) Baseband Video and Audio set up and measurement experience
3) Able to operate and make accurate measurements using standard Video, Audio and RF electronic test equipment
4) Baseband Video, Audio and Headend RF troubleshooting experience
5) Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft and equiv software products (eg. office2000)

Skills Desired:
1) Advanced baseband Video and Audio setup and test experience.
2) Experience with Scientific Atlanta Headend equipment.

Education Required: High school + post high school technical education (preferably in CATV field). Experience can be considered as a substitute by candidate.
