I worked a retro a couple of years ago in Georgia where the trunk guy stripped back the jacket on the 860 and 540 cable, whoever spliced the taps cut the connectors correctly. Every amp either had extension's or straight splices. You might expect that from a newbie tapper but not from your trunk man...(angry)
