sub contract retro prices

ok......... just a little curious here, and this is not something i would normally do, but have splicers become untouchable? Has the demand for a few quality splicers become so high? Here is why i ask............. i am currently paying .42ft retro ( night or day ) these are sub prices not prime prices or in-house prices and this is mid-west pricing. It appears that everyone is just wanting sweep now days. Anyway, just posting to find out if there is something out there that i am missing because an average of 3k per week per sub splicer seems pretty fair to me and it seems to be harder and harder to find quality splicers anymore. Hacks are a different story and we wont go there
