Re: Gas and pay....pay and gas.....

I keep seeing ads touting $1500 to $2000 per week, but the truth is, I've never known anyone making that kind of money doing installs. I did see a guy once work from sun up till way after dark, 6 days a week and only make $1400. I believe it's more like $800 per week if you're lucky and for that kinda of money what's the point in being a contractor? Spending $200 per week in gas, that's $800 per month! For that I could take a pay cut, work 7 to 3:30, 5 days a week and actually be home in time for a hot dinner. Might even have a minute to spare to scratch my dogs nugget.
