Funny i just brought this up to the owner of who i contract from just ths morning at our meeting. His sugestion was to strike. Not just us who work for him but nation wide. Refuse to work for 1 day till we see an increase in pay. Just as the truck drivers did.
I have read these forums for quiet some time now and have read many post where ppl should band together and take a stand. And they are exactly right. Put the industry to there knees. Will it help? Who knows but what is there to loose? Sure maybe they'll replace us with another contractor, but i honestly don't think many ppl are going to be coming into this business now at the rising cost of gas, repair, food and so on.
