This is a copy of a letter I really had to write, the names hace been changed to protect the innocent.


Good day Mr. Smith,

This letter is in response to your complaints about our companies Internet Service.

Yes we do advertise 50Mbps internet service. You must understand that this is Best Effort you can not expect to get 50Mbps to every site you go to. There are many variables that can slow the service down. here are just a few. Where the site is located for one, remember you are in Japan if you are going to a US site there are quite a few connections your signal will have to pass through to get connected. Second the time of day you are using the service, our peek usage hours are between 16:30 and 22:00. Just like an express way the more traffic on the road the slower everyone moves. Sir in your case this is the most important reason you are experiencing slow internet speeds, PLEASE READ THIS CARFULY ......... YOU ARE USING DIAL UP AND ARE NOT A CUSTOMER OF OUR COMPANY!!!!!
