Re:What's the problem in Atlanta ?
A large portion of the problem lays with the fact of the merger with ATT...you build just enough to satify what you stated your "expected projection of revenue" is going to be...only order so many widgets to get by on until the merger, and let the lack of materials now fall into ATT's back yard when the merger is now official... Now lets add to the pot the fact that they are converting over to ATT warehousing sytem, and now things will really begin to get crasy..they are now going from peoplesoft to oracle, and the individual ATT has calling the shots for training is setting things up for failure at the rate she is going...Eventually it will get better, but it is going to take some time, which with the rate of poor service there is already, maybe ATT will trade us off to one of the other major MSO's..or replace the gal they put incharge of the conversion...it all boils down to common sense and logical moves....now there's a statement that goes on the same premise of military intelligence???
>Personally I think Mediaone is giving out just enough work out to string contractors along incase some work does open up. There have been alot of big promises made and broken. They sure don't seem to want the job done!
