"What makes a good subcontractor" is a better question!
It depends on your point of view.
A predator needs a short time success relationship....do the jobs & I PROMISE you will get paid the impossible money promised. SO when the prime guy leaves town he can expect that a sub that will trust him will have a hard time collecting his money = GOOD SUBCONTRACTOR
A standard business with long term goals needs a competent & efficient smaller entity to do acceptable work on small details of a larger contract. Get it done & do it right......be paid promptly & we'll do it over and over is the expectation.=GOOD SUBCONTRACTOR.
