I have done work on a lot of Charter systems both in-house and as a Contractor. Not as an installer but I know where you are coming from. Let me say this, Charter is just like the other big MSO's. There are good systems and bad ones. The regional management has alot to do with it. There are alot of systems were the in-house guys are talking just like you about contractors, and with good reason, because there are lot of bad contractors (good ones too). Anyway, if you can't turn a profit go somewhere else, it's only gonna get worse. If you find something you enjoy and doesn't stress you out, every day is like a vacation....LOL.
