I've installed at many bars and restaurants where they've had cable hd. The picture is so much clearer from dtv and dish network than cable. Actually, a few of the bars I installed dtv basic boxes, and the owners were just a happy with them as the cable hd boxes because the picture was 100% digital. If you watch the same programming, one on cable hd and one on dtv hd there is a time delay. Then the farther your away from the sub station, the worse the picture.
