Re: Hourly for splicing coax?


On splicing a node it depends on how many cables are attached to it. Is this new build? If so did the U/G crew do there job or do you have to pull every ped and cut the conduit, fix the conduit and reset the ped? If every thing is in place it should take 30 minutes to sometimes two hours to splice a node, five to ten minutes to splice a tap and the time it takes to build the equipment. You have to take in account for bonding and if it's retro it could take even longer, but then again I'm slow,carpal tunnel has taken it's toll.
