any info on at&t in chicago area

any body know on how long it takes to get hired at at&t after they do your backround check and D.O.T. I filled out the application on line at there office in Chicago, after they told me I was exempt from having to take the Technical Mechanical II test, when went there to take the test1 any info would appreciated!
