Lazarust326 - Ok, I need to step back and think about the "impulse thing" you said....
Depending on the situation most noise issues (ingress) are fixed by tightening your system down with heavier shielding and tight fittings.
Impulse noise can be caused by several diff things but as far as I remember, it mainly affects the low band. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong, just trying to understand your "choke thing".
I am just confused on how the impulse noise acquired in the customer premise would cause a reflection back out into the system, if it does I am still thinking how the service loops would help with this prob.
