Yes wire ties are UL rated! UL says nothing about the proper method of mounting equipment being wire ties. UL says that they are reliable and allowed in UL rated installs. That does not mean that your method of bonding is approved by NEC code which SAT,Cable and TCOm fall immediately under. You should be glad that your install was not viewed by an adequate electrical inspector like the one in Dania Beach Florida. If you believe otherwise post the link that proves it. Do you also run your lines close to AC wires too?
