Re: Work Done By Baileys Satellite

what's up mark? Hey bro I won and have the paperwork bro. I need to figure out how to scan from a sharp copier machine and save to the pc so I can post it here. You guys are gonna love it.

And by the way. Nice pic on the profile bro.

and let me further say this concearning this thread,

1. the pic I saw of that sat install looks like total sh8. The "run" should have been hid in the "j" channel of the siding and not mounted to the siding leaving 1/4 holes in it.

2. The POE, being that close to the bottom of the siding, (refer back to 1) should have been made UNDER the siding not penetrating through it leaving yet another hole sealed or not.

3. where is the ground bond on this? Why was the dish not placed closer to it?

On the matter of the bond? I did not see a ground comming from the dish. Is this now a thing of the past? Last I knew, DTV specs required a seperate lead (#11 or #10 if memory serves me right)

going from the dish to the ground block. I did not see this.

and last I remember, We QC looks for these things as well to pass an install. Maybe times have changed, but if it where my house, somebody would be getting an irritating call.

Just my 2 cents.

Oh and BTW, memphis how goes it bro?
