Ya know what ? in a lot of systems thats simply how it is.
I could post pics every day when I get home of all the garbage I see from one job to the next, including plant.
Drunks and drug addicts driving around using vice grips for their all in one tool. The prices out there don't make the matter any better as we get homey the clown doing installs and thinking he's the best thing going in cable to date. These miscreants think "as long as it doesn't get seen for 60 days they are home free. I actually see hex crimp fittings on 2 week old jobs in a system thats been using compression for 3 years cause they figure "why buy a tool for $70 when the vice grips they stole out of home depot will work just fine.
I have to wonder why I even bother as a contractor to carry a $4000 DSAM when most people out there just pull levels off of boxes and modems, if they even do that. Sometimes I'm actually ashamed to tell any one I work in this industry. The pride I take in my work product doesn't mean jack ****e any more.
