Diddo Jim. Just recently I had to bore under two driveways at the end of a Cultisac. When I was almost done and I was activeateing the line I had just buried a Old Lady opens the door and says who gave me permision? I said This is a Utillity easement I dont need permision. People dont answer the phones or open the doors when I knock or call. State law makes me call in locates two days prior to digging. I was the man who put those white flags down (proposed path). she then says who is going to fix the holes? I said me right now. she then closed the door. I'm sure she was unhappy that I had to get to that ped but the family with phone internet and TV two houses away were really happy when they got home!
