Never had to, but always wondered when working on one during the daytime " what if this thing pops in the middle of the night?
I think of all the fences I've hopped because no answer or no english if I dont do it I dont get paid. The only thing that stops me is a big dog and I've made a few freinds with beef jerky in those situations.
I would have to consider the customer count after the amp if there was phone? How many? Would 3 phones be worth it? No. 25 ? maybe.
I wouldnt knock though, unless I saw signs of life inside. throw on the headlamp and go make as many trips as needed to be safe (your hourly) and if they wake up explain whats going on, if they kick you out then your boss cant say anything from his comfortable bedroom at least you tried.
