Installers are the first point of contact for MOST CATV/DTV customers. If you work for me, you're going to look like you are working and not hanging out waiting for a pick up game to start.
I'm not going to argue this VERY simple concept that one should be appropriately attired for work and that PART of being a professional is LOOKING like a professional.
It is amazing that anyone could actually (with a straight face) suggest that being dressed professionally for the job somehow diminishes one's "manhood". I disagree.
It's usually the loudest in the room that is the weakest in the room. Take it for what it is worth.
