I just started installing dtv 5 months ago and dont seem to have any time for my family. going 80 mi to the first job 15-20 miles in between. 5-6 jobs a day occasionally at work for 18 hours a day. ive looked at my route and sometimes i spend 4.5 hours a day in the f'in van. i'm not b*tchin i'm just curious if this is what its all about or will the hours come down as i get more proficient. also i've read you guys make 1200-1500 a week. i havent been able to bring home more than say 900 a week pre-tax. also i've read some of you guys charge for crawl spaces and attics. i work for directech and my branch doesn't charge for those things. whats next xtra charges for the 2nd line to a dvr? i would also like to know the benifits of being a private contractor vs. an employee of a contractor. any help would be appreciated. ty jon
