Yeah I'm still a Republican but I wish I had one worth voting for this time. And by the way Alaskan summers are the greatest.....if you pay attention and don't have anything planned on that day! Actually there are 100 degree days in the interior, even here in Anchorage we've seen some days in the mid 80's. Today sucked however, it was only in the single digits (which isn't all that cold) but wet cloudy and ugly. It's the sunny days we live for, even thought those are the really cold ones. Worked up near Fairbanks 2 years ago and saw temps at 60 below 0. No wind chill no nothing. just cold, we left our trucks running for nearly 2 weeks straight. Yeah yeah I complained about the heat down in Key West during the off season...I'm just never satisfied......gotta go there's a moose in the front yard.....It's going to be a short winter most of the males still have their antlers.
