3. Federal Government Small Business Administration
4. Chamber of Commerce for referrals
5. Some banks /credit unions have small business loan specialist
they naturally want to sell you a loan but can help you get the business plan together, help you identify what you can use as collateral, etc..
6. Some communities have agencies that work as micro lenders
7. Look in the phone book for Private equity firms. For a piece of the action they will underwrite you. A serious drawback is that You can loose some or all control of your firm
8. Take classes at the local community college. At least talk with the instructors. For help and information on who to talk to next.
