Sounds like Hootie has been watching CNN (Communist News Network) I was in Iraq for 3 years..never heard of us dropping a 500lb. bomb on neighborhoods, although that might not have been a bad idea..thats where the enemy hangs out because they are too chickens--t to fight. I did encounter several IED attacks, along with motor attacks on us and our base...several soldiers and civilians killed (civillans being contractors) but guess what, never heard anyone like Hootie mention anything about this side of it...So it's only my personal opinion..if you ain't been there, your opinion don't count for a hell of a lot...and don't listen to some news reporter that goes over, sets in a hotel in the green zone for a few days and comes back and is an expert on the Iraqi war..his opinion don't mean s--t either. To relate this to you Hootie, coming to me with your un-educated guess about Iraq is something like a 5 year old wanting you to teach him how to sweep a system.
