thanks Triplesec

I appreciate your concern, Thanks.
I already have three hard hats. And a safety belt. Bashelin . I only climbed without one for two years before I deemed it a necessary item in 1982. I use to climb without a safety belt and do mid spans by sliding out on the Bell lines under the CATV. for support. Never slid out more than a third of the pole span. I was dumb and young.
I think maybe I will get rid of the Klines (hooks) and get a set of some Bashlins Hooks and use my old glasses, maybe take an extra pair up with and the bi-focals in case I can't see the tap. Most of it is ground work with Bi-noculars. But I still have to see the DISCO's. Never wear a hard hat up a pole! It will limit your visibility and run your head into something. Like a rookie linemans 18 inch bolt where a 12" should have been placed.
Thanks Again - You got my old brain functioning!
