Re: Pole climbing schools

Send them out to work with a good aerial crew for about 9 months. If there any good they should be able to climb anything. Also they will at least know the difference between a bug nut and a tap. Too many guys out there calling them selfs technicians because they took a NCTI course. But give them some gaffs and send them out to cut in a tap and they look at you like they been gut-shot. Have yet to meet a Tech that was worth a fart in the wind that did not start at the bottom and work his way up.
