I dimly remember a song from The Sound of Music (Now I'm dating myself) This movie played at the movie theater for a whole year. The Great Escape was another one that was there for a year. Back before multiplex theaters. I think the screen must have been 80 ft wide and at least 40 ft tall. I still remember how great How The West Was Won looked, the first film I saw in Panavision. They finally did turn the place into 3 theaters.but just was not the same. I saw my first James Bond movie there,my father took me. He only took me to see John Wayne, and James Bond movies.
The last movie they played before going multi was LET IT BE, I was 16.
Damn I'm getting old. As you can see my past time has changed a little, and I have found multipliables can be good also. Forgive my ramblings.
