Date nut bread

Any of you Dawgettes or Dawgs got a recipe for this stuff? Ma used to bake 'em in little "tin" cans when cans used to be made outta tin! Ma 'n Pops have been gone a few years now ( yup, i'm an orphan) and didn't get that recipe from her! Always made it around Cristmas time and gettin' a taste for 'em fresh out of the oven, with lots 'o butter! Sure would appreciate a recipe! Later, MikeM.
