I used to keep track of all the free work I used to have to do. When the scale used to tip to more free work than paid - Then I started to say "I'll do what I get paid to do." They think you are a bad tech when you use your head an not bend over.

Basically, most want an in-house extension of "employees" (contractors) to do wallfishes and pretty much everything else but box swaps and trap changes. I can't blame them - the amount of overtime TW in-house would burn through to do installs would be astounding !!

There are still 600MHz splitters out there in use because there was no billiable code for a splitter swap while ripping half the paint off a house to change it.!
