Not trying to give you a hard time but changing your identity is probably going to cause even more problems for you (and especially for other person's SSN/identity that you are considering stealing). Depending on the mistake you made, can it be removed from your record? Maybe with the help of an attorney, if necessary? Depending on how bad your mistake was, you may have to consider a new industry. For some reason, Cable MSOs have start to tighten who can be hired (pretty funny when most of those who rose through the ranks are/were criminals themselves). Telcos might be your way to go. A lot of fiberoptic work out there and some of the work itself is similar to cable. Good luck to you. And please don't knock off a bank, then you'll have the FBI after you too. Have faith in yourself. And if it gets that bad, go get on welfare -- you're entitled if you've already paid into the system......
