Re: Cabling dead? I hope not !

I went self employed at the beginning of the year, and I was a sub off a prime in the outskirts of St. Louis. Well, the dumbed me to stay in house...one tech who blew off jobs on a regular basis was kept because he was inhouse.....to make a long story short, I got a call from somone I know,who stated, that a technician showed up at his house, spent an hour an a half telling the sub the job was too big, and to go to dish...well this customer is a working "joe" like the rest of and called me. I wired his house...5 outlets for video, 1 dedicated line for video, 1 dedicated line for VOIP....it took me 7 hours...but he paid me for what I gave him..(wall fishes...everything inside the wall)...well his wife went to Charter...with my bill (which was very reasonalbe) and made the conractor pay the sub if they wanted to keep working for them.....I am tired of the lazy people....I make more on my own than I ever did as a sub...there is a market.
