Want a side view from people

This may seem a little different, my stepdaughter is in another states system, due to allegations of abuse fromher father, I cant say if he is guilty or not, things do not add up in any logical way, the man is entitled to a trial, to get my stepdaughter back we are supossed to serve him with papers cancelling his rights, then 2 weeks ago they told us he is about to die, no joke, I knew his health was bad, they are making a goodby video of his daughter, yet they are insistent we serve him!! Talk about a head trip?? It goes against my ethics and logic?? i just thought I would post this to see what kinds of imput others could offer. Thanks
