Most prime contractor have to sign same waiver with the MSO in order for them to get paid. The MSo wants to varify that the prime contractor has paid you (the sub) as with material vendors. This keeps (you the sub) from going to the MSO. Only do this in phase/node, not a blanket one for the entire job. If your not paid, file lien anyway, the prime and the MSO don't want to get caught up in such a mess. If you do this, be prepared to find another job for another MSO.
This is just a method in trying to delay your payments if they want. If your not paid-you have alot of options in collecting your money. A baseball bat works Great !!!!!!!!
