Re: unfair....this seems fair to me

Personally I think that before any person being allowed into this country should have to serve in the armed forces. If they want to reap the benefits of this great country of ours then they should be willing to live and die for it. Green cards should be earned, not just handed out. People could serve in some capacity, whether it be fighting in Iraq, working as a desk jockey or standing at the border making sure their relatives aren't sneaking in under the radar. And learning English should be the first requirement!
