Sounds like maybe someone wanted you gone anyway. But who knows.... The telephone industry almost just as bad as Cable. Hotheads who got promoted or somehow survived and never got fired due to union protection- don't know anything about managing until someone makes a mistake and makes the manager "look bad". Boo Hoo.
Sorry you're the one to suffer. But you also trained someone who got skilled but will probably take a smaller wage and maybe that's how he got rehired????
